Oxford Carriers donates to fundraiser in support of SpecialEffect

Oxford Carriers has donated £600 to help a customer’s fundraiser in support of charity SpecialEffect. SpecialEffect is a gaming charity that seeks to enable more physically disabled people to experience fun and freedom through gaming and cutting edge-technology.

Oxford Carriers’ customer Oxford Products is a global leader in motorcycle and bicycle aftermarket products. Its MD Andrew Hamond has put together a team, the OxFactor, to participate in the Oxford Products Twin Town 2020+2. OxFactor cars will have the Oxford Carriers logo on them.

The Twin Town event will see more than 100 cars, each costing less than £500, head off from Oxfordshire’s Blenheim Palace for a road trip to Le Touquet in France. The event takes place at the end of April.

A representative from SpecialEffect told Oxford Carriers: “Thank you for your fantastic donation, we’re hugely grateful. Your support will help to make a direct and very real difference to the people we support.”

Oxford Carriers' Managing Director, Grant Morris, says: "We are extremely pleased to support such an important charity and wish Andrew and his team good luck."
