TPN Member Delivered has worked with award-winning brewery Siren Craft Brew, based in Wokingham, to get the service levels it needs to satisfy its supermarket, pub chain and trade distribution customers as its popularity grows throughout the UK and abroad.
Previously Siren used a different pallet network but found its reliability and communication lacking. Regional distribution centres frequently have tight time windows for delivery and it was imperative that the company’s products reached their destinations intact and on-time.
“We switched to using TPN Member Delivered for all our palletised freight destined for North of Birmingham,†says operations manager Jason Lodge. “We needed a partner who could provide exemplary service levels today but also support the strong growth we anticipate.â€
The company runs its own van fleet for local deliveries and has entrusted Delivered with full-load delivery where necessary.
“The TPN service is very reliable,†says Lodge. “We’ve grown from one unit to five since 2013 and our list of major brand customers is growing. We can also see spikes in demand, such as when our pallet numbers went up from 80 a month to 165 last October.
“Delivered is extremely responsive,†he adds. “There can be unforeseen circumstances in transport, such as adverse weather, but if there is ever a problem, they keep us fully apprised. That strong communication and keen problem-solving is important.â€
Siren’s products include its core offering of six ‘Siren’ beers, as well as collaborations, seasonal and limited-edition brews, and aged beers. A recent crowd-funding project has financed a new high-end canning line which the company anticipates will create substantial growth in 2019.
