Oxford Carriers helps school children develop green fingers

Oxford Carriers has recently collected and delivered a shed for the local St Nicholas C of E Primary School in East Challow free of charge when the delivery turned out to be an expensive problem.

The school has been working hard to develop a  beautiful garden in which its pupils can participate and the shed had been donated by a local supporter, however collecting it was beyond the school’s means.

Oxford Carriers MD Grant Morris says: “We were delighted to help, it’s very important to us to be active and involved members of our community.”

“This is another exciting addition to our growing outdoor provision and would not have been possible if it weren’t for Grant Morris, who has very kindly collected it for us and will be delivering it”, says Miss Palmer from St Nicholas school. “We really appreciate him giving up his time to do this for us.”

The shed will sit at the bottom of the school’s field and will be used for storage.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to the team at Oxford Carriers for collecting and dropping off today our new recycled shed”, says Miss Palmer.
