Trunk driver for TPN Dagenham

Our TPN Dagenham depot has a night-shift job available for a C+E/Class 1 licence holder. Your role will be to drive our smart, modern HGVs, trunking into the Minworth or regional Hubs. 

Some of your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading the vehicle using a tail-lift
• Delivering goods safely
• Completing the paperwork, and confirming delivery with our handheld devices
• Sometimes there may be other driving or transport related tasks, so we ask for a degree of flexibility from our drivers.

It's your responsibility to make sure all of your work is conducted in accordance to health and safety legisalation and other legal requirements; in accordance with company policy; and that your vehicle is clean, safe and roadworthy.

You will need:

• A category C+E driving licence, with no more than six points
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/ Driver CPC
• A digital tachograph card
• Fluent English
• Physical fitness, as you'll be moving heavy goods

We offer a competitive salary, uniform and statutory training. If you travel to our Minworth Hub, we provide a free hot meal for trunk drivers each evening (usually until about 4am). We also have extensive shower, kitchen and rest facilities, so you can relax and freshen up before the return journey.
